Poetry isn’t working today; consider this a freewrite.

I haven’t been home much today, so i haven’t gotten the chance to write an actual poem.  I have a lot of ideas, just nothing finished.  There is just way too much going on in my head the past few days.  I’m not concerned with sharing on here because, well, most of you don’t really know me on a super personal level (other than Amy).  I’ve been thinking a lot about what i really want to do in life.  I was accepted to Eastern Illinois University, technically.  They told me to attend IVCC for a semester and if I was able to get a 2.5 GPA, then they would admit me.  That’s currently what i’m doing.  However, i’m starting to wonder if all the stress is worth it.  The bottom line is, i have been considering different options.  I could continue working my butt of in hopes of MAYBE being accepted into Eastern, or, option #2…i move to Oregon with my best friends, go to school out there, and basically start over fresh.  I don’t want to get too far into detail here, so i’ll leave it at that.  It’s just something i have to figure out, i guess.
